Taji Awards Africa – Kamba Edition 2026

1. About Taji Awards Africa

Taji Awards Africa is an awards platform celebrating excellence, achievement, creativity, leadership and positive community impact.

As part of the growing landscape of awards in Kenya, Taji Awards provides a platform for recognizing individuals, organizations, businesses, creatives, professionals and community initiatives that demonstrate outstanding performance and impact.

The Taji Awards Africa – Kamba Edition 2026 is designed to celebrate excellence within the Kamba community while contributing to the wider culture of recognition and excellence awards in Kenya.

These Official Voting Terms & Conditions establish clear rules for voters and nominees and are intended to ensure that the Taji Awards voting process remains fair, transparent, credible and accountable.

2. Purpose of the Voting Terms

These Terms govern participation in the public voting process for the Taji Awards Africa Kamba Edition 2026.

They explain:

  • Who can vote
  • How to vote
  • How votes are validated
  • Official voting channels
  • What constitutes a valid vote
  • How votes are verified
  • How winners are determined
  • Nominee mobilization requirements
  • The Nominee Mobilization Incentive
  • Complaints and disputes

Participation in this Kenya award voting process constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

3. Voting Period

Voting for the Taji Awards Africa Kamba Edition 2026 will remain open for 60 days.

The official opening and closing dates will be announced through the official Taji Awards channels.

âš ī¸ Votes submitted after the official closing time will not be counted.

Taji Awards Africa may extend, suspend or adjust the voting period where reasonably necessary due to technical, regulatory, security or other circumstances that may affect the integrity of the voting process. Any material change will be officially communicated.

Any applicable payment-provider charges will be communicated where relevant. The KES 15 vote validation value will be clearly displayed through official Taji Awards voting channels.

5. Official Voting Channels

To maintain the credibility of these awards in Kenya, voters should only use official Taji Awards voting channels.

Each Taji Awards nominee receives a unique voting code and official voting link. Voters should use the nominee's official Taji Awards voting link when submitting votes.

  3. Reply using the nominee's voting code followed by the number of votes required
Example: TAJI132 5

This validates 5 votes for the nominee assigned voting code TAJI132. Each validated vote is valued at KES 15.

Only votes processed through official Taji Awards channels will be recognized.

6. Valid Votes

A vote is valid when:

  • It is submitted through an official Taji Awards voting channel
  • The correct nominee voting code is used
  • The applicable validation amount is successfully processed
  • The transaction can be verified
  • The vote is submitted within the 60-day voting period
  • The vote complies with these Official Voting Terms & Conditions

✅ Only valid and verified votes will contribute to the final results of the Taji Awards.

7. Invalid or Fraudulent Votes

Taji Awards Africa is committed to protecting the integrity of its voting process.

Taji Awards reserves the right to reject or remove votes associated with:

  • Fraud or attempted fraud
  • Automated or bot-generated voting
  • Manipulation of the voting platform
  • Unauthorized payment methods
  • Reversed, cancelled or refunded transactions
  • Duplicate or technically invalid transactions
  • Attempts to bypass voting controls
  • Any activity intended to unfairly influence the results

Suspicious voting activity may be investigated before the final results of the Taji Awards are confirmed.

8. Nominee Mobilization

Nominees are encouraged to actively mobilize genuine supporters throughout the voting period.

Nominees may promote their Taji Awards nomination, voting code and official voting link through:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • WhatsApp
  • YouTube
  • Community groups
  • Personal networks
  • Events
  • Other legitimate communication platforms

Nominees must provide supporters with accurate voting information.

Nominees and their campaign teams must not:

  • ✗Misrepresent voting information
  • ✗Publish false vote totals
  • ✗Impersonate Taji Awards officials
  • ✗Encourage fraudulent voting
  • ✗Coerce or intimidate voters
  • ✗Interfere with another nominee's campaign
  • ✗Manipulate the voting system

9. Nominee Mobilization Incentive

To encourage active participation in the Taji Awards and reward nominees who successfully mobilize genuine supporters, eligible nominees may receive a 25% Nominee Mobilization Incentive based on Net Eligible Voting Revenue generated through their official voting code.

The incentive is governed by the separate Taji Awards Africa Nominee Mobilization Incentive Policy 2026.

Note: The Nominee Mobilization Incentive does not guarantee an award and does not alter the process used to determine the winners.

10. Determination of Winners

Unless otherwise stated for a particular category, the winner will be the eligible nominee who receives the highest number of valid votes at the official close of voting.

â„šī¸ Final results will only be confirmed after the necessary verification and reconciliation process has been completed. Live or preliminary vote figures may change following verification and should not be considered final results.

Where a tie occurs, Taji Awards Africa will apply the applicable tie-breaking procedure communicated for the relevant category.

11. Vote Verification and Audit

To maintain confidence in the Taji Awards as a credible platform for an excellence award in Kenya, Taji Awards may verify voting activity using:

  • Voting records
  • Transaction records
  • Payment confirmations
  • System logs
  • Voting timestamps
  • Other relevant information

Taji Awards may conduct internal reconciliation or engage independent technical, financial or audit professionals where considered necessary.

Votes identified as invalid may be removed before final results are confirmed.

12. Refunds and Payment Issues

Votes are generally final once successfully processed.

Where a verified technical or payment error results in a voter being charged without receiving the corresponding validated votes, Taji Awards may investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.

Voters should retain their payment confirmation or transaction reference when reporting a voting problem.

Refund requests should be submitted through official Taji Awards communication channels together with sufficient transaction details.

13. Technical Interruptions

Taji Awards Africa will take reasonable measures to maintain the reliability of its voting systems.

However, Taji Awards shall not be responsible for interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Internet or mobile-network failures
  • Payment-provider outages
  • Power interruptions
  • Cybersecurity incidents
  • Third-party service interruptions
  • Other force majeure circumstances

Where a material technical problem affects voting, Taji Awards may take reasonable corrective action, including extending the voting period.

14. Data Protection

Taji Awards may collect and process information necessary to administer voting, verify transactions, prevent fraud, provide customer support and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Kenyan data-protection laws.

Taji Awards Africa will not sell voters' personal information for unrelated commercial purposes.

15. Official Communication

Participants should rely only on official Taji Awards Africa channels for information concerning:

  • Nominees
  • Voting codes
  • Voting links
  • Vote validation value
  • Voting dates
  • Results
  • Awards ceremony information
  • Official announcements

Warning: Taji Awards is not responsible for inaccurate information distributed by unauthorized individuals, pages or groups. Voters should verify suspicious messages before making any payment.

16. Nominee Disqualification

Taji Awards Africa may disqualify a nominee where credible evidence establishes serious or repeated:

  • Voting fraud
  • System manipulation
  • Misrepresentation
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Conduct that materially compromises the credibility or integrity of the Awards

Affected votes may also be cancelled. Where reasonably practicable, the affected nominee will be informed of the basis for the decision.

17. Complaints and Disputes

Voting-related complaints should be submitted through official Taji Awards communication channels.

A complaint should include:

  • Name and contact details
  • Nominee voting code, where applicable
  • Transaction/reference number
  • Date and approximate time of transaction
  • A clear description of the issue

Taji Awards will make reasonable efforts to investigate genuine complaints. Unresolved disputes shall be handled through the appropriate mechanisms available under the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

18. Taji Awards Ceremony

The venue and final ceremony details will be communicated through official Taji Awards channels once confirmed.

Note: Participation in voting does not automatically guarantee attendance, transport, accommodation or other expenses unless expressly provided by Taji Awards.

19. Changes to These Terms

Taji Awards Africa may update these Terms where reasonably necessary because of legal, regulatory, technical, security or operational requirements.

Material changes will be communicated through official Taji Awards channels.

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved through the Taji Awards internal complaints process may be referred to the appropriate legal or regulatory mechanisms available under Kenyan law.

Acceptance

By submitting a vote or participating as a nominee in the Taji Awards Africa Kamba Edition 2026, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Official Voting Terms & Conditions 2026.
